How about FOUR of them?

This crew–Bruiser, Coco, Bogie, and MuMu–are  ridiculously cute and fun. If I lived in their house, I think it would feel like a (dog) party every day.

Hounds on the Hudson isn’t just for dogs, but don’t tell them that! We love our cat visits too–especially when the kitty is Shaun. Shaun is one super sweet feline who loves getting brushed and playing with his toys. We had the pleasure of taking care of this handsome guy over the weekend. Thanks for the love, Shaun!

Scout & Chloe watch life go by on Madison Ave

Okay, I’m not typically one to endorse cleaning products (they usually just never work as well as they claim), but this one is a must-have for any pet owner. Clean + Green’s line of eco-friendly green cleaning products are made from organic and biodegradable ingredients and they really WORK! They make one especially for wood floors, carpets, automobiles, etc.

And you can purchase their products at the Honest Weight Food Co-Op (which also happens to stock Nature’s Variety raw frozen food, doggie yogurt, supplements galore, etc). I wonder if it works for baby messes too? I think I’m going to buy stock in this company.

Last night our dear friend Roxy passed from this world.

Roxy was legendary. Everyone in Center Square knew her and loved her. She loved to say hi to everyone (especially the mailman who always had treats for her!) and everyone loved to say hi to Roxy. She was one of the first dogs we walked with Hounds on the Hudson, and we were immediately smitten with her. Roxy was so sweet and loving and had the fluffiest, most beautiful coat you’d ever seen. In her old age she had slowed down some, but she still held her own against any of the big, rowdy dogs she’d encounter on our walks. Seeing Roxy every day always put a smile on our face…she was that kind of dog.

Roxy will be dearly missed by her dog brother Guinness, her loving owners Jenny and John, and by all of us at Hounds on the Hudson. She was truly an amazing dog and will never be forgotten. Goodnight, sweet girl.

Sad news this morning. Ralphie passed away this week. He was only a puppy and graced our lives for such a short time, but he stole our hearts completely.

Ralphie you will be missed by your loving owners Jen and Alan, your dog buddies, and all of us at Hounds on the Hudson.
